The Way to Happiness

Will Pope Benedict ever realize what a big favour he has done to Islam and to the muslims of the whole world because of his THOUGHTLESS remark at the university in Regensburg .

Pope said , "Show me just what [the Prophet] Mohammad (PBUH) brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached".

Pope is a learned man and yet he has clearly demonstrated lack of knowledge of ISLAM, a religion which is from the same GOD whom he worships. If the Pope had even some basic knowledge of Quran and the character of Prophet Mohammad ( peace be upon him), he would have died with shame to say such a thing.

It is an eye opener for all the people around the world who want to think , analyse and understand the facts which this incident has exposed. The fact that Pope quoted the Byzantine emperor’s statement to others means that he believes in it, otherwise he should have mentioned that the statement is wrong.
Let us see what Allah says in the Quran about good and evil.

Though only one reference is enough to prove the Pope wrong , I am giving a few more to help you think deeper.Quran :

Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah , Verse 81Yes! Whosoever earns evil and his sin has surrounded him, they are dwellers of the Fire (i.e. Hell); they will dwell therein forever.

Quran :Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah, Verse 82And those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh swt- Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, they are dwellers of Paradise, they will dwell therein forever.

Quran : Chapter 4 – An Nisa , Verse 30And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allâh.

Quran : Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah, Verse 215They ask you (O Muhammad SAW) what they should spend. Say: Whatever you spend of good must be for parents and kindred and orphans and AlMasâkin (the poor) and the wayfarers, and whatever you do of good deeds, truly, Allâh knows it well.

Quran : Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah, Verse 280And if the debtor is in a hard time (has no money), then grant him time till it is easy for him to repay, but if you remit it by way of charity, that is better for you if you did but know.

Pope calls such a religion ‘evil & inhuman’. Obviously he has wronged himself and will pay the price in the court of the Almigthy. He does not realize that we muslims believe and follow the instructions of the same GOD as his and take the name of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) with due respect.

Islam has spread in the world not through SWORD but through the beautiful character of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and his followers. Prophet’s character was such that he even forgave his bitter enemies after his victory of Makka. He instructed all his followers to treat them with kindness , not to tie their hands and feet tightly as that might hurt them. Even in war , Islam does not allow the killing of women, children, old people or destruction of orchards and other property as this does not help anyone.

Jihad does not mean killing innocent non-muslims. It means ‘the fight against evil and injustice’. The evil can be within onself ( malice , jealousy, pride , arrogance etc ) or in the society. The war which an individual fights with his own self trying to curb the bad feelings and resisting his obsession for the world is the biggest Jihad. In the society if anybody does injustice to a muslim , then he will definitely fight with him for his rights , the person may be a muslim or non-muslim. A muslim is strictly not allowed to hurt anybody , muslim or a non-muslim if no harm is done to him. The word Jihad has been purposely misinterpreted in the world to gain political mileage. The people who have harmed innocent people are definitely not following the teachings of Quran.

A person does not become a muslim just by being born in a muslim family or by having a muslim name but a ‘Muslim’ is a person who surrenders to the will of THE only one GOD , ALLAH , who has created you, me, everyone and everything that exists.

There are no separate GODs for Jews , Christians , Hindus , Sikhs, Buddhists , Parsis , Jains and so on. He is only one GOD whose will has been conveyed to the people of the world through 124,000 messengers who were normal human beings born among them.

The divine message given to them was recorded by the people. Today only four written records (books) are available namely Psalms given to Prophet Dawood (peace be upon him) or DavidTorah given to Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) or MosesBible given to Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) or JesusQuran given to Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) All these prophets and those before them were muslims since they had submitted themselves to the will of Allah. They all were conveying the message from the same GOD , ALLAH.

Right from the beginning some men recognized the truth and followed the messengers while others rejected the message. Those who rejected the truth created there own religion by formulating a set of value system and customs limited by their intelligence. Hence today we see so many religions on earth. That is how the cults have come into existence. The truth is that there should have been only ONE religion as there is only ONE GOD.When Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) came , all the people of his time were to follow him. His followers are today known as Jews.

Allah says in Quran Chapter 5 – Al Maidah, Verse 44Verily, We did send down the Taurât (Torah) [to Mûsa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allâh's Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Taurât (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allâh's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed, such are the Kâfirûn (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allâh's Laws.

Now when Prophet Isa (peace be upon him) came , all the people on earth along with Jews were to follow him as he was the next messenger from Allah who testified the teachings of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) and added on to the message. But unfortunately all the Jews did not follow Prophet Isa(peace be upon him) even when they knew that he was speaking the truth.

Allah says in Quran Chapter 5 – Al Maidah , Verse 46And in their footsteps, We sent 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)[], confirming the Taurât (Torah) that had come before him, and We gave him the Injeel (Gospel), in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Taurât (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious V.2:2).

Next came Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) . All the people on earth including Jews and Christians were to follow him but unfortunately the same old thing happened…..some recognized the truth in his words and character while others went against him and even tried to kill him. Allah says to the followers of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) ,

Quran : Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah, Verse 136Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allâh and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob), and to Al-Asbât [the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Mûsa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm)."

Quran is not the property of any particular section or society. It belongs to all the humans born on this earth. It is the duty of each and every individual to explore the message of his creator. Quran addresses every livingp person on earth and invites all to read and contemplate on the message therein. There is only ONE GOD for the whole universe , for you , for me and for all.

Allah says in Quran , Chapter 2 – Al Baqarah , Verse 2This is the Book (the Qur'ân), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqûn [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allâh much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allâh much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].

Quran is a miracle of Allah as no human being has been able to change even a word of it for the past 1400 yrs . Verify it yourself. Pick up two copies from different parts of the world and check. It still exists in it’s original form because it is the guiding force for all the generations to come till the Day of Judgement. If it could be distorted as per the whims & fancies of the people then the correct message will not reach the future generations and they will be misguided. So Allah has himself taken the responsibility of guarding His Book , The Quran.

Allah says in Quran , Chapter 15 – Al Hijr , Verse 9Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption).

Don’t take for granted what I say because you are intelligent people and have the capacity to verify the facts yourself.

QURAN is the food for the soul.
Only when the soul is healthy can the body be Healthy, Happy and Peaceful.

Life is very simple but it is we who have complicated it with all the corruption in the minds and with the diseases of jealousy, hatred, pride, arrogance in our hearts. Same is the case with the issue of veil. Is this matter not as simple as choosing to wear a suit and cover your legs instead of exposing them by wearing a mini skirt? If a women wishes to cover her body and face from the X-ray eyes of other men, what wrong is she doing? She is not bringing loss to anyone. We all have the fundamental right to protection and she is making use of the same.

A veil is a protection for any women who desire to be modest, well mannered and saved from evil eyes. It is not just a piece of cloth which covers her body from head to toe but a clear message to the men around that this is the boundary which they cannot trespass. Signaling that she is not interested in any vain talk and opposes any immoral proceedings. Any verbal communication with men is short, firm and to the point, as she should not become the source of any temptations arising in the hearts of men.
When communicating with children, a woman can of course lift her veil so that she can teach them properly as in this situation her facial expressions may be important depending on the subject.

A veil is not a confinement but a freedom for women. When covered in an abaya, women can move freely without worrying about others looking at her curves, as there is nothing to see except the loose long black dress. Women can be very modest, properly covered and well mannered even without wearing an abaya, but what is the remedy for the temptations arising in the hearts of many men when they see a beautiful figure in charming colors and a glowing face. Does she not become the source for a big problem, which has started in a small way with no fault on her side? Islam is a religion with deeper wisdom than what we can perceive. By asking the women to cover herself, Islam eliminates the source of the problem and rewards her with blessings for killing her natural desire to showcase her beauty.

I am sure no decent man would ever tolerate another man staring at his beautiful wife. God did not create the feeling of jealousy and possessiveness in his heart without reason.

A woman has great responsibility in this society, as she is the one who closely grooms the future of the world. Competing with men is not success for her. Her success lies in molding the future with her soft and firm hands, a task which man is not privileged to accomplish. What respect can she command if she throws away her own Nobel Prize and strives to steal away somebody else’s prize.

She is the one who has to teach the children to stay away from nudity and illegal sex as it corrupts minds & hearts of complete societies. To stay away from homosexuality as it is against human nature and even animals refrain from it. Is man worse than an animal? If she understands human behavior and works intelligently towards uprooting the evils right from the source then she will bring to the whole mankind the gift of peace and happiness, which all the riches of the world put together, also cannot buy.
Only a fool can say that a veil is a danger for the society of Britain? In fact this is the best way to curb the immoral activities in the society, which occur due to lack of a value system. Free mingling of the sexes creates a fertile ground for the growth of passionate desires, which ends up in rape, out of marriage sex, homosexuality and even murder.

I have failed to understand why the Britain’s open society will stop being so if the women folk expose less of their skin in public. Is openness linked in any manner to the exposure of the fair skin for the feast of the men’s eyes or openness has a better meaning. I am sure that for Europeans the word ‘openness’ does not mean kissing another’s wife. Is openness not the free flow of constructive, beneficial and intelligent ideas across people and societies? It is highly stupid to think that the veil closes the doors of progress and prosperity for the people. It will in fact lead to a better utilization of resources, which are today going down the drain in the name of satisfying man’s sexual hunger.

George W. Bush at WAR with ……Osama or Himself ? The question is strange but the answer is very simple. If one peeps within his soul where God has downloaded the divine programme , he will get all answers. We have to bear in mind that God is the same for all human beings and hence the programme is the same for all. The proof is that every human being has been gifted with the same positive feelings of love, compassion, mercy, kindness and the negative feelings of hatred, jealousy, pride, anger and so on. The creator when creating the human souls did not make any distinction of religion, cast, creed or color.

The injustice of segregation done to mankind has been an outcome of our own egos. There have come men from time to time who are hungry for name and fame and hence have segregated the people in the name of religion by luring them away from the true teachings of God with their sweet talk in order to gain control over them. They become leaders who write a programme of their own and create a dual operating system in the soul of their followers. Please note that they are incapable of deleting the original divine programme. The soul of the people weans under this burden. As a result confusion takesover and the capability to distinguish between right and wrong diminishes. Life becomes a series of problems with tension piling up, no happiness even though the bank balance may be enough to buy two cities.

The good news is that in spite of the bruised soul when one thinks deeply about his situation and craves for discovering the truth , he invariably finds it. The truth is nothing but the knowledge of his creator and His true teachings. Only when a person follows the true teachings of his creator will he be happy and content. This happiness & contentment , even all the riches of the whole world put together cannot buy. It is an experience which has to be earned, no one can give it to you.

A person who terrorizes and kills innocent people in the name of Islam or for that matter any other school of thought has surely crushed his soul beyond repair. Such a person who tampers with the divine programme in his soul has taken a wrong path and with each passing moment his heart hardens so much that all wrong things seems right to him. He thinks that he is destroying others but actually he has bought destruction for himself. None can save him from this destruction except God. God saves only those who sincerely repent and do not return to the wrong again.

George W. Bush has branded Osama bin Laden as a terrorist. Yes he is true ! A person who terrorizes innocent people for no fault of their’s is definitely a terrorist. Such a person will be punished by God in this world as well as in the next because he is not following the true teachings of his creator.

God says in the Quran, Chapter 5 – Al Maidah: Ayat 32
“ ………. if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. …….”

But what about George W. Bush himself. Which category of people does he fit in? In his revenge against Osama bin Laden for reasons of anger and hatred, is he not competing with Osama bin Laden to become a bigger terrorist who can even reduce the rulings of the United Nations to a mere naught in order to satify his ego.

Who is more dangerous? Is it Osama bin Laden who is running around seeking a place to hide or it is George W. Bush who has openly bombed the innocent resident of Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and may be more in the queue under the pretext of catching Osamas or WMDs which never existed. His soul has been corrupted to such an extend that he is boasting at the top of his voice even after destroying complete countries instead of dying with shame. There is justice in the court of God. George Bush will pay in full for what he has done very soon in this world and also in the hereafter. He is not fighting with Osama but with himself, with his own self. These doings will surely ruin his life here and also in the hereafter.

The idea of seeking the truth is not undermining others nor insulting them, it is only for our own benefit so that we do not loose out in the race for the beautiful everlasting life after death and save ourselves from the irreversible lose which will hit us in the face on our deathbed. Everybody will be taken account of their owns deeds and not others, also nobody will be able to help them even if they want…it is like in the examination Hall where the Question papers are already distributed and u realize that u have studied a wrong subject……nothing can be done then.

In life, death is a point of no return, unlike the classroom examination where you can reappear after one year. This life is temporary and jus ta test but the life after death will last forever. So we cannot ignore an everlasting life for a temporary one.

It is better to explore and seek the truth instead of wasting a whole lifetime pampering our senses and then ending up with a big zero when the angels of death arrive.
